Video Editor & AI Content Assistant | Real Estate Content Brand | Remote | Part-Time
I'm a real estate agent in San Jose, CA with a growing content brand and I need a skilled video editor who can also hold their own with AI content tools.
This is a part-time position starting at 20 hours per week with real potential to grow into more hours as the relationship develops.
Primary Role: YouTube Video Editor
Long-form YouTube videos are the core of this job. I need someone who can take raw footage and turn it into a polished, engaging final product with strong pacing, graphics, titles, and B-roll. YOU are expected to source B-roll independently. If you don't already know your way around Pexels, Storyblocks, or similar resources, this is not the right role for you.
What I'm looking for:
Strong editing instincts, pacing, storytelling, knowing when to cut
Graphics and title card creation
Reels and short-form content edited from long-form source material
Canva proficiency for thumbnails and visual assets
B-roll sourcing handled independently by you. I provide local footage you can't find online, you handle the rest.
Ability to deliver a finished 10-15 minute video within three days of receiving footage
Secondary Role: AI Content Assistant
Beyond video, I need help producing blogs, newsletters, and social content using AI tools. You need to already be working with Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT, not learning them on my time.
Requirements:
Reliable high-speed internet and capable computer equipment. This is non-negotiable.
Experience editing for U.S.-based creators, preferably in real estate, lifestyle, or local content
Proven reliability and consistent turnaround times
AI tool fluency, not curiosity
The Details:
20 hours per week to start, with room to grow
$8-15/hour depending on experience, paid via Wise
Fully remote, long-term position for the right person
HOW TO APPLY:
1) Send direct links to LONG-form YouTube videos you have edited - do NOT send short form videos. Priority given to candidates with experience editing for U.S.-based creators, particularly in real estate, lifestyle, or local content.
2) BEFORE applying, watch at least one, recent long-form video at
**IMPORTANT**
If you cannot follow these basic instructions, no consideration - your application will be archived immediately. That's the first step.
Further into the process I'll share a swipe file of videos that represent the style and quality I'm building toward. The right candidate will watch them, understand what I'm going for, and tell me how they'd get me there.
