JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can bring our brand to life across platforms — someone who thinks in content, speaks our voice fluently, and knows how to build a community that converts. This is not a post-and-ghost role. We need someone who is deeply plugged into what's working right now, who can develop content strategy, execute with precision, and is not afraid to move fast.

Employment Type: This role will begin as a part-time position, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance, business needs, and long-term fit.

You will work closely with and report directly to the Head of Marketing, playing a central role in driving organic growth, brand awareness, and revenue for the brand.

Content Creation & Strategy
- Own and execute the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest
- Develop short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) — scripting, shooting direction, and editing or coordinating editing
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and copy that reflect the brand voice — confident, direct, warm, inclusive
- Identify trends early and translate them into on-brand content before they peak
- Produce a consistent mix of product, lifestyle, educational, and UGC-style content
- Maintain a monthly content calendar with clear creative briefs and post schedules

Community & Engagement
- Monitor and respond to all comments, DMs, and mentions daily — within brand voice
- Build genuine community engagement that turns followers into buyers and buyers into advocates
- Identify and engage with potential brand fans, loyal customers, and micro-influencers organically
- Flag customer feedback, recurring product questions, or concerns to the Customer Support Team

Analytics & Reporting
- Track weekly performance across all platforms — reach, engagement rate, follower growth, video views, saves, and link clicks
- Deliver a clear weekly and monthly performance report with insights and actionable recommendations
- Use data to iterate quickly — doubling down on what performs, cutting what doesn't
- Monitor competitor accounts and emerging DTC competitor brands for positioning insights

Influencer Marketing & Affiliate Program Support
- Assist in identifying, vetting, and outreaching to relevant influencers and content creators — from nano to mid-tier — who align with the brand values and target audience
- Repurpose approved influencer and UGC content across organic social channels to maximize content volume and social proof
- Track influencer campaign performance — reach, engagement, story views, link clicks, discount code usage, and attributed sales
- Maintain an organized influencer and affiliate database (contact info, tier, platform, rates, past performance, content links)
- Proactively identify new partnership opportunities — brand collaborations, ambassador candidates, and community advocates

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Create compelling graphics and video assets for paid advertising campaigns across digital channels. Support ad content creation by sourcing inspiration, organizing reference folders, and maintaining a clean, easy-to-navigate ads content library in Canva.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing on ad creative repurposing — organic content that can be adapted for paid media
- Support influencer campaigns by creating briefs, tracking deliverables, and coordinating reposts and UGC
- Align content cadence with email marketing, product launches, and promotional calendars
- Participate in weekly tea ---------- etings and contribute to creative strategy discussions

*Responsibilities may evolve as the company grows and operational needs change.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of social media management experience, ideally in DTC, e-commerce, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Proven track record of growing accounts organically on Instagram, Facebook and/or TikTok
- Strong short-form video content skills — you know how to script, shoot, edit or direct compelling Reels and TikToks
- Excellent writing skills with a sharp eye for brand voice — you can match a tone and make it your own
- Deep platform knowledge: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Pinterest — algorithm behavior, best practices, and formats
- Proficiency in social analytics — you know what metrics matter and how to act on them
- Highly organized and self-directed — able to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines without handholding
- Creative thinker who also executes — you bring ideas AND follow through
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, small team environment

Who You Are
You are someone who spends more time creating and analyzing than scrolling for fun. You understand the difference between content that looks good and content that converts. You take brand voice seriously — you read the brand bible and actually apply it. You are proactive, you bring ideas to the table without being asked, and you are comfortable flagging issues before they become problems.

You are excited about DTC growth. You want to be part of building something real — not just managing a feed.

Ready to Apply?
Send your resume, a brief note on why you're the right fit, and links to accounts you've managed or content you've created and your portfolio.
