Long-Form YouTube + Reels Editor for Finance Channel — Finance Knowledge Required, 3-Day Turnaround

We have 195K+ Instagram followers, 3,500+ newsletter subscribers, and a YouTube channel that we're scaling aggressively.We post 1-2 long-form YouTube videos per week and 2-3 Reels per week. Looking for an editor to own the editing pipeline going forward.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

YouTube long-form (7-10 minutes):
- Edit talking-head footage with B-roll, animations, and transitions
- Add chart overlays, stat callouts, and data visualizations
- Mix on-camera segments with full-screen data sections smoothly
- Color correction, audio cleanup, pacing edits
- Pattern interrupts every 15-20 seconds, zoom cuts during talking head
- Light motion graphics for emphasis on key data points

Instagram Reels (50-70 seconds):
- Talking head + caption overlays
- Punchy, fast-paced cuts
- Stat callouts and ticker mentions visually emphasized

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong English — you'll be working with technical finance terms (ETF, AUM, expense ratio, yield, dividend, sector allocation, basis points). Mistakes here are unacceptable
- Finance / investing literacy — you don't need to be an expert, but you should understand what a stock chart looks like, what a comparison table is, what "expense ratio" means
- Proven editing portfolio with at least 3 long-form YouTube videos (please share links)
- Native video editor in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve (your choice)
- 3-day turnaround per long-form video from raw delivery to first cut
- 2-day turnaround per Reel
- 24-hour turnaround on revisions
- WhatsApp communication
- Available for ongoing work — 1-2 long-form + 2-3 Reels per week

Reels (50-70 sec): $30
YouTube (7-10 min): $100

HOW TO APPLY

- Confirmation you can complete a paid test edit ($30 for a 2-3 minute YouTube section)
- What time zone you work in and your typical working hours

I will respond within 48 hours to candidates who pass the initial review. Top 2-3 will be invited for a paid test edit. Whoever delivers the best work on time gets the ongoing role.

Test edit: I'll provide 2-3 minutes of raw YouTube footage with a script and written brief. $20 paid via Wise on delivery. Turnaround: 48 hours.
