Video Editor & Social Media Manager (Freelance – Remote)
About Us

We are a London-based video production agency working across a range of industries including dentistry, jewellery, small business, and education.
Our work includes website videos, social media content, interview-led brand films, and documentary-style storytelling. Much of our content is narrative-led, meaning we regularly work with long-form interviews that must be crafted into clear, engaging stories for web and social media.
We are looking for a freelance Video Editor & Social Media Manager to join our remote post-production team on an ongoing basis.

Working Hours
Ability to overlap with UK working hours when required
After probation period, the majority of work may be completed during Philippine working hours
This role requires someone who can problem-solve independently while the UK team is offline

Role Overview
This is a dual-role position involving both video editing and social media management.
Alongside editing content created by our production team, you will also be responsible for helping manage and grow social media accounts for our clients using the content we produce.
Content will be filmed and captured by our UK production team. You will be responsible for editing this content and managing its delivery and performance across social platforms.

Video Editor Responsibilities
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to. Applicants must be able to:
Edit Instagram Reels and TikTok-style social media content
Edit interview-led brand and website videos
Review long-form interviews (e.g. 20 minutes) and craft them into short narrative-led edits (e.g. 2–3 minutes)
Select key soundbites to build a clear story
Multi-cam editing
Sync externally recorded audio with camera footage
Audio levelling and mixing (dialogue, music, sound effects)
Music selection
Basic colour correction
Add subtitles and on-screen text where required
Version edits correctly (e.g. v1a, v1b etc)
Upload and download large footage files overnight when needed
Collaborate with our existing Philippines-based editor across multiple projects
Overlap working hours with other editors when required

Social Media Manager Responsibilities
As Social Media Manager, you will be expected to:
Strategise ways to grow client accounts
Focus on attracting the right followers (not just increasing follower count)
Improve engagement across platforms
Write captions for posts
Manage scheduled posting
Create and post Stories where appropriate
Engage with relevant accounts, brands, and communities
Support the overall growth of client social media presence using video-led content
Required Software & Workflow

Applicants must:
Be proficient in DaVinci Resolve (or willing to transition fully)
Have reliable, high-speed internet capable of:
Downloading large footage files
Uploading exports
Working within DaVinci Cloud projects
Be comfortable working with:
OneDrive
pCloud

Microsoft Teams / Tasks
Requirements

We are looking for someone who:
Has strong attention to detail
Can follow a creative brief without step-by-step direction
Understands pacing for social media platforms
Can make interview-led content feel natural and intentional
Has an eye for detail and storytelling
Is comfortable working remotely to clear deadlines
Can identify and solve problems independently when required
Availability
Freelance role
Initially contracted for approximately 2–3 days per week
Ongoing work available for the right candidate
