Webmaster

We are a fast growing Canadian company, and we are looking for a talented webmaster to build websites (in Wordpress) in small niche markets.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
We're looking for a full time employee - 40 hrs per week - and ideally someone who is looking for a stable long-term position. You must have full time access to a computer and internet.

We will also consider applications for part time: 20 or 30 hours per week.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Great understanding of the internet
- Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed manner
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Has access to Skype and a reliable internet connection.
- SEO skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be creating Wordpress websites, on various topics. This involves installing Wordpress on a brand new domain, via cPanel & WHM, then adding a theme and customizing it for the site in question. You will also be responsible to post content to the site that we provide, and do some research to add some extra pictures and videos as well.

You won't have to write articles; we will supply the content, however you will be expected to take an article and post it to the websites, finishing it appropriately with pictures or affiliate links where relevant.

In addition, you will be doing some link building to the sites you build, by creating Squidoo lenses and Hubpages, as well as other Web 2.0 profiles and accounts.

Training will be provided where necessary.

Experience with Thesis, Headway, Genesis or WooThemes is considered an asset, as is graphic design experience (for creating header images for the sites). If you have experience with these, let me know in your application.

COMPENSATION:
Please make an offer with what you feel is fair. We can negotiate on a starting salary per month. Salary increases and bonuses will be available based on the quality of your work, and as we work well together and build the relationship. The first month will be considered as a probation period, during which we will be closely assessing your work.
