Jr Accountant

Job Description:

At ERPS GROUP we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, fluent English and a desire to learn and grow in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate looking to kick-start their career in accounting. The working hours are 8am - 5pm EST.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide support during audit procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with tea ---------- mbers to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
- Stay informed about relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Quickbooks Desktop.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance is preferred
