The Role
We are looking for a Construction Accountant to support our growing client base.
This role is not just data entry.
You will be responsible for helping ensure that client financials are:
- accurate
- complete
- ready for monthly close
You will work closely with a senior tea
What You’ll Do
- Review and clean up weekly transaction coding
- Ensure bank and credit card activity is complete
- Assist with monthly reconciliations
- Identify and flag missing or unclear transactions
- Support job costing accuracy for construction clients
- Prepare books to a “ready for review” state
Growth Path
Phase 1 – Support Role: Focus on accuracy and cleanup
Phase 2 – Close Support: Assist with reconciliations and monthly close
Phase 3 – Construction Accountant: Own a set of clients and close books by the 10th
What Success Looks Like
- Transactions are clean and complete each week
- Issues are identified early (not at month-end)
- Reconciliations are accurate
- Work requires minimal correction during review

Requirements
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with reconciliations preferred
- High attention to detail
- Strong written English communication
- Ability to follow structured processes
