Bilingual Accounting & Finance Specialist (Remote)

Costa Rica Operations | Part-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bilingual Accounting & Finance Specialist to support our Costa Rica operations on a part-time basis. This role will work closely with our Controller based in Toronto, Canada, with oversight from our Philippines-based manager, assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping.

• Part-time: 15 hours per week
• Starting rate: $4/hour
• Fully remote
• Must be able to overlap with Toronto business hours (EST)

• Enter and maintain all Costa Rica expenses and revenue in QuickBooks
• Ensure accurate and organized financial records in both English and Spanish
• Coordinate regularly with the Toronto-based Controller
• Work under the oversight of the Philippines-based manager to ensure alignment and reporting consistency
• Assist with reconciliations and month-end closing processes

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance
• Proficient in QuickBooks; experience with multi-currency is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Accounting experience in Costa Rica or similar countries
• Familiarity with Canadian accounting or tax standards
