Position: Genesis Cleaner Manager
Location: Work From Home
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (AEST)

- About the Role -
This role is dedicated to managing and supporting newly onboarded Home Support Workers (HSWs) through their Genesis Journey - the critical first 8 weeks of onboarding.
The goal is to ensure every HSW is fully onboarded, trained, engaged, and rostered, enabling a smooth and confident transition into the Emerging Cleaner stage.
This is a retention and revenue-focused role, designed to build strong early foundations that drive long-term success.

- Key Difference from Ongoing Cleaner Manager -
Unlike a traditional Cleaner Manager, this role:
Focuses exclusively on newly onboarded HSWs
Supports workers only within the Genesis (first 8 weeks) stage
Does not manage established cleaners beyond onboarding and early development
Plays a critical role in retention, engagement, and early performance success


- Core Responsibilities -

1. Genesis Journey Management
Manage HSWs throughout their full 8-week Genesis Journey
Track and monitor progress against key Genesis milestones
Ensure timely and successful transition to the Ideal Cleaner stage

2. Onboarding Completion & Compliance
Ensure all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time
Follow up on outstanding documents and information
Maintain accurate and up-to-date cleaner records and systems

3. Early Shift & Roster Support
Ensure Genesis HSWs receive:
Minimum 5 hours/week by Week 2
Average 8–10 hours/week within Month 1
Monitor roster allocations and escalate any shortages
Provide support during first shifts and early scheduling concerns

4. Training & Development Coordination
Guide HSWs through Level 1 and Level 2 training
Track and ensure training completion progress
Coordinate and remind HSWs of training schedules and requirements

5. Buddy Program Coordination
Ensure each HSW completes a buddy visit within the Genesis timeframe
Coordinate and champion the buddy program experience
Track completion and gather feedback to support process/people development

6. Engagement & Retention
Conduct early engagement calls and weekly Genesis check-ins
Identify early signs of disengagement or retention risk
Proactively escalate concerns and implement support actions

7. Readiness Assessment & Handover
Assess HSW readiness at the end of the 8-week Genesis Journey
Ensure all milestones, training, and requirements are completed
Provide a structured and smooth handover to the ongoing Cleaner Manager

What Success Looks Like
HSWs complete onboarding on time and without gaps
Strong early engagement and confidence from new workers
Consistent roster allocation within the first 8 weeks
High Genesis-to-Ideal Cleaner transition rate
Reduced early worker drop-off

Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong coordination and organisational skills
Experience in onboarding, training, or workforce support
High attention to detail and compliance
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and act on risks early
