This position is full-time with 40-45 hours a week and starts between $4/-$5/hr USD (DOE), with opportunity for advancement. Please do not apply if your income request is outside this range. We will conduct a minimum of two interviews, along with a proficiency exam.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing customer service and supporting agency by servicing existing accounts. This position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
• Processes certificates, evidences, changes requests, and billing requests accurately
• Prepares renewal
• Assists with inbound quoting, servicing, as needed
• Calls carriers for various billing, servicing, and underwriting needs
• Complies with agency management system data standards, file storage management standards, and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
• Processes tasks and follow-ups timely, efficiently and accurately
• General clerical duties, and administrative tasks, as-needed
• Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
3 years related work experience in both personal and commercial lines-insurance
Knowledge of QQ Catalyst, a plus
College graduate, or relative work experience
SKILLS
Excellent written communication skills and customer service skills
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and effective time management skills
Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills
Ability to work within a team, and have an effective relationship with superiors and carriers
Willing to learn new things, be flexible, and have a positive and dynamic personality
Must be able to adapt and manage high volume, and at times, stressful situations
Must be able to be serious when needed, but have a sense of humor, when needed too
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
