Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant

LaBovick Law Group is seeking a highly organized and dependable Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. Experience in workers’ compensation or legal support is preferred, but a strong work ethic, confidentiality, and willingness to learn are equally important.

Responsibilities
Maintain organized case files and ensure documents are accurately filed and easy to access.

Update case management systems with case status, deadlines, and important details.

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, pleadings, and documents.

Copy, scan, print, and file documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

Schedule attorney appointments and maintain accurate calendar entries.

Request and obtain medical records and bills from providers.

Assist with discovery preparation and responses.

Process cost bills and prepare check requests as needed.

Assist with draft closing statements and bill reduction requests.

Support attorneys and case staff with day-to-day case progression.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous legal support experience preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with legal terminology, document handling, and Microsoft Office.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Experience with case management systems is a plus.
