About Us
Day1 Agency is a New York based social first digital marketing agency. We run paid ads, SEO, AEO, social content, and web design for clients across legal, home services, e commerce, and professional services. Our team is distributed across the Philippines and the US and we are scaling quickly.
The Role
We are hiring a senior Google Ads specialist to own paid search strategy and execution across our client portfolio. You will be the lead on Google Ads, Local Service Ads, and Performance Max campaigns. You will build, launch, optimize, and report on campaigns. You will not be managing junior media buyers. You are the media buyer.
This is a senior role. We are not looking for someone who is learning. We are looking for someone who has already made the mistakes, already knows what works, and can walk into an account and immediately identify the three things that are costing the client money.
What You Will Own
Google Ads campaign strategy, build, and daily optimization
Local Service Ads setup and management for legal and home services clients
Performance Max campaigns for ecommerce clients
Landing page collaboration with our design and dev team for conversion rate optimization
Conversion tracking setup, Google Tag Manager, GA4, call tracking integration
Monthly client reporting with clear insights and recommendations
Google Ads audits on new client accounts as part of our onboarding and sales process
Account structure, keyword research, negative keyword strategy, ad copy, bidding strategy
Budget pacing and reallocation across campaigns
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of hands on Google Ads experience managing monthly ad spend of at least $10,000 per account
Experience across multiple verticals. Legal experience is strongly preferred given our current client mix
Fluent written and spoken English. Client communication is part of the role when needed
Proficient in GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and at least one call tracking platform such as CallRail or WhatConverts
Experience with conversion rate optimization and a track record of improving campaign performance over time
Available during US Eastern Time working hours for at least 4 hours of overlap daily
Must have a stable internet connection, reliable power, and professional remote work setup
Must be willing to use a US VPN when logging into client accounts to avoid two factor alerts
Nice to Have
Google Ads certification current within the last 2 years
Experience with Local Service Ads specifically for law firms
Experience with Meta ads as a secondary channel
Experience with Looker Studio or similar for client reporting dashboards

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience. We pay well for senior talent.
