We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to support business development efforts in the U.S. market. This role will focus on outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead qualification, and setting appointments for merchant services/payment processing solutions.
This is a part-time remote opportunity to start, with the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls to prospective business clients in the U.S. market
Identify and engage business owners or decision-makers
Introduce payment processing solutions and generate interest
Qualify prospects based on defined criteria
Schedule discovery calls or appointments for the sales lead
Maintain accurate call notes, outcomes, and follow-up activities in CRM or tracking tools
Follow call scripts while communicating naturally and professionally
Meet activity and appointment-setting goals
Support list-building, prospect research, and follow-up outreach as needed
Qualifications:
2+ years of outbound B2B sales, lead generation, or appointment-setting experience
Experience making cold calls to U.S.-based prospects preferred
Strong spoken and written English
Confident, professional phone presence
Experience using VoIP, dialers, or CRM systems
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
Experience in merchant services, fintech or financial services, SaaS, or B2B services is a plus
Technical Requirements:

Ability to work hours that overlap with U.S. business hours (Pacific Time Zone)
