Roots Global is looking for one sharp, confident communicator to own our discovery call stage. This isn't a prospecting role. Every person you speak with has already raised their hand, picked a time, and added it to your calendar.
Your job is simple: show up, run the call, make the call.
The Role in Plain Terms
You'll handle inbound discovery calls — quick 10 to 15 minute conversations where you figure out whether a lead is the right fit for what we do. Some you'll pass forward. Others you'll politely send on their way. Either way, you're the first real voice behind the brand, which means how you show up matters.
Think of it as the bridge between marketing and sales. Not quite a setter, not quite a closer — something in between, and arguably more important than both.
Your Day-to-Day
Running pre-booked calls from your calendar. Asking sharp, well-timed questions. Reading people quickly and making a clear call on fit. Logging notes cleanly so the next person in the chain isn't flying blind. Being reliably online during US hours.
That's it. No dialing cold lists, no nurturing sequences, no "just checking in"
What's In It For You
A base salary with commission on top. A steady stream of warm, inbound bookings. A tested call framework so you're never guessing what to ask. And real reps in a seat where your skill level shows up in the numbers every week.
Who We're Looking For
Someone fluent in English with a confident phone presence. Someone who can run a focused conversation without it feeling like an interrogation or a script. Prior experience in setting, closing, or any sales-adjacent role is a plus, though what matters more is how you think on a call. You need to be comfortable with US hours and weekend availability, and you need to actually want a role where output is visible.
