As a Video Designer you will be responsible for concepting, designing, and editing short-form video content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram,
Job Duties
- Transform static assets (images, UGC, product shots) into engaging motion pieces optimized for social.
- Edit short-form videos for organic and paid placements, including hooks, pacing, and CTAs tailored to each channel.
- Create multiple variations of assets for testing (hooks, thumbnails, headlines, length, etc.).
- Source and integrate music, sound effects, subtitles, graphics, and transitions to enhance performance and accessibility.
- Adapt video content to platform best practices (aspect ratios, duration, captions, formatting, and trends).
- Implement feedback from performance data (CTR, watch time, engagement, ROAS, etc.) to refine creative.
- Maintain organized project files, versioning, and naming conventions for easy reuse and iteration.
- Proactively bring new ideas informed by trends, competitor analysis, and performance insights.
- Manage deadlines across multiple projects, communicating proactively about timelines and dependencies.
- Participate in internal reviews, incorporate feedback quickly, and deliver final assets on schedule.
Job Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form social video work.
- Motion graphics skills (typography, simple animations, product callouts).
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar).
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and file management across multiple brands and campaigns.
Working Hours
This role requires availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, which includes a 1-hour lunch break. Please note that these hours are not flexible.
