About Us

Baird Built is a New Zealand building company focused on premium modular homes and high-quality renovations. We are growing and want someone who can help manage new enquiries, follow up leads properly, organise appointments, and create new opportunities through outbound calling and relationship building.

This is an important role in our business. We need someone who is proactive, organised, confident on the phone, and strong at keeping ---------- ntum in the sales process.

The Role

A key part of this role is fast follow-up of new enquiries. When a lead comes in, we want someone who can respond quickly, keep the conversation moving, and make sure opportunities do not go cold.

You will help manage incoming leads, follow up quotes and proposals, coordinate pre-visit packs, do outbound calling, and organise meetings for the Director with key referrers and potential partners.

This role is not just admin. We want someone who can take ownership, follow through, and help drive sales activity.

Main Responsibilities

Respond to new enquiries quickly
Make fast first contact with new leads so opportunities do not go cold
Qualify leads using our process
Follow up enquiries, quotes, and proposals consistently
Book appointments, calls, and site visits
Send client materials by email where required
Coordinate physical lookbook sending by notifying NZ staff with correct client details
Confirm client name, address, phone number, email, project type, and timing before dispatch
Update CRM or tracking sheets when lookbooks are requested, sent, and received
Cold call potential clients and referral partners
Reconnect with older leads
Identify architects, designers, agents, developers, and other potential referral partners
Reach out to key referrers and potential partners to introduce Baird Built
Organise meetings, calls, or coffee catch-ups for the Director with qualified referrers and strategic partners
Keep a pipeline of referral and partnership opportunities moving
Help move leads from enquiry to signed job
Report on lead activity and pipeline progress

What We Need

Strong spoken and written English
Proven sales, appointment setting, lead generation, or business development experience
Strong follow-up habits
Confident on the phone
Able to respond quickly and stay on top of new enquiries
Good organisation and attention to detail
Able to work independently
Reliable internet and quiet work setup

Nice to Have

Experience in construction, real estate, property, or home services
CRM experience
Experience with outbound sales or cold calling
Experience coordinating admin workflows and handover tasks
Experience booking meetings with business owners or decision-makers
