JOB OVERVIEW

Auto Damage Estimator — Full Time | $3-$6/Hr USD
The Claim Factory |(Remote)

About Us
The Claim Factory is an independent auto damage appraisal firm based in Denver, Colorado. We work with insurance carriers, fleet managers, and adjusters across the country to deliver accurate, fast, and professional appraisal reports. We run a tight, quality-first operation and we hold our work to a high standard.

The Role
We’re hiring a full-time Auto Damage Estimator to support our appraisal workflow remotely. This is a production role — you’ll be working real claims, using real estimating software, and delivering finished work product.
This is a long-term position with room to grow. We’re looking for someone who takes their craft seriously.
Hours: Full time (40 hrs/week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, aligned to US Mountain Time

What You’ll Do
• Write and review auto damage estimates using CCC ONE and/or Mitchell
• Support total loss documentation and appraisal report preparation
• Organize and label inspection photos; review photo sets for completeness
• Coordinate with appraisers and adjusters on file notes and open items
• Work within our Airtable-based claim management system

What We’re Looking For
We prefer candidates with direct experience in one or more of the following:
• Auto appraisal firm (independent or carrier-side)
• Body shop or collision repair facility
• Insurance claims department (auto physical damage)
• Salvage, fleet, or equipment valuation
We will train the right person — but you need to come in knowing the industry. If you’ve never touched an estimate, worked in a shop, or dealt with auto claims in some capacity, this role is not for you.
Software experience that matters:
• CCC ONE (estimating)
• Mitchell (estimating)
• Classic/Heavy Equipment estimating (a plus, not required)
• CompanyCam or similar photo documentation tools

To Be Considered
We get a lot of applications. Most people don’t read the post. To show us you did, include the phrase “straight line” somewhere in the first paragraph of your cover message. Applications without it will not be reviewed.
In addition, please answer the following in your application — keep it short and honest:
1. What estimating software have you used, and for how long?
2. Have you worked at a body shop, appraisal firm, or insurance company? Describe the role briefly.
3. What’s a supplement, and when would you write one?
4. What does ACV stand for, and how is it used in a total loss claim?
These are not trick questions. If you know the industry, these take two minutes.

What Good Looks Like
You’re detail-oriented. You don’t cut corners. You can work independently without someone checking on you every hour. You communicate clearly in writing. You learn fast. You care about the quality of the work — not just getting it done.
If that’s you, we want to hear from you.

To Apply
Send your application through OnlineJobs.ph with your answers to the four questions above and a brief intro. Include any relevant experience, software you’ve used, and your availability to start.
