About Creative Nomads:
We’re a remote creative agency with 20+ tea
We work with nonprofits, mission-driven organizations, and visionary brands—helping them build digital presence that earns trust and drives action.
We’re not here to just make things look good. We build websites that communicate clearly, feel intentional, and convert.
Clarity first. Design second. Always.
About the Role:
We’re hiring a design-first Web Designer who can both create and build high-quality websites.
This role leans heavily toward design (Figma), with the expectation that you can bring your work to life in Webflow or Framer at a high level.
You won’t just be handed perfect files and told to build. You’ll be expected to think:
Refine layouts
Improve UX
Make design decisions when needed
Then execute cleanly in Webflow or Framer
If you care about typography, spacing, hierarchy, and clarity... and you can build what you design, you’ll do well here.
What You’ll Do:
Design website layouts in Figma (from direction, wireframes, or strategy)
Refine and improve designs for clarity, UX, and conversion
Build your designs in Webflow or Framer
Create responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Structure CMS content and reusable components
Implement intentional interactions, animations, or logic
Apply basic SEO and performance best practices
QA your own work before handoff
Communicate clearly via Slack and ClickUp
Must-Have Skills:
Strong Figma design skills (portfolio required)
Ability to design clean, modern, conversion-focused websites
High proficiency in Webflow or Framer
Experience with advanced features (Webflow Logic, Framer advanced interactions, or animations)
Strong understanding of layout, typography, and spacing
Portfolio showing both design work and live builds
Good written English (this is an async, remote team)
Reliable internet + backup plan
Nice to Have:
Experience with GoHighLevel, Zapier, or Make
SEO knowledge (site structure, performance basics)
Experience working with nonprofits or mission-driven brands
Accessibility (WCAG) awareness
About You:
You take ownership, no babysitting required
You ask questions early instead of guessing late
You care about doing meaningful, high-quality work
You notice details others miss
You’re honest about timelines and communicate proactively
You want to grow, not just complete tasks
Work Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday)
Must work during US Central Time hours (9am–5pm CST) or have strong overlap
Consistent communication via Slack during working hours
Compensation:
Starting rate: $8–$10/hour, based on experience
Performance-based increases as you grow
Long-term role with opportunity to move into a senior/lead position
Why This Role is Different:
You’ll design and build—not just execute tasks
You’ll work on meaningful projects for organizations doing real impact
You’ll have creative input—not just follow instructions
You’ll grow into more ownership over time
How to Apply:
Please include the following:
Start your application with the word “NOMADFLOW”
A short note (3–5 sentences) on why this role interests you
Links to 2–3 websites you designed
Links to the live versions you built
A Figma file (read-only link) for at least one project
Briefly describe one project where you used Webflow Logic, Framer features, or advanced interactions
Your expected hourly rate and start date
Applications missing these will not be reviewed.
We read every thoughtful application.
If you care about clean design, meaningful work, and growing your craft—you’ll fit right in.
