JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Direct Response Video Editor who actually understands what makes people stop scrolling and more importantly, what makes them buy.

You’ll be working on one core DTC brand, owning the video side of its performance creative. You’ll collaborate closely with the creative and performance team to test angles, iterate quickly, and turn ideas into scalable winning creatives. If you naturally think in hooks, pacing, retention, and payoff, you’ll fit right in.

What You Will Be Owning

Direct Response Video Creation
Edit VSLs, UGC-style ads, and performance creatives built to convert
Structure videos from hook to body to CTA with clear intent
Continuously test variations to improve performance
Creative Strategy & Iteration

Bring ideas, angles, and hooks—not just execution
Collaborate with performance team to align on winning concepts
Iterate quickly based on data and feedback
AI & Content Production

Use AI tools to generate visuals, hooks, and supporting content (e.g. Runway, Descript, Opus Clip, Midjourney, ElevenLabs)
Work across editing tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar to produce high-quality assets
Stay ahead of trends in AI-driven creative production
Performance-Focused Editing

Understand what drives engagement, retention, and conversions
Optimize content based on metrics and outcomes
Build a library of winning creatives that can scale


Who You Are

Proven experience editing for direct response eCommerce brands
Strong understanding of what makes content convert (not just look good)
Comfortable working with AI tools and modern editing software
Skilled in structuring high-performing video ads (hook ? body ? CTA)
Strong English communication (written and spoken)
Highly proactive, fast-moving, and ownership-driven
