ABOUT CHAIN LIGHTNING DESIGN AND MEDIA

Chain Lightning Design and Media is a live design and marketing agency that operates through "Design Shows" — real-time client sessions where branding, logos, web assets, and marketing campaigns are produced and iterated on the spot. THE ROLE

You'll be part of our Marketing Production Team, working alongside our branding, creative, and design teams during live Design Shows and ongoing Encore (retention) campaigns. This is a hands-on, full-stack marketing role — you'll touch everything from paid ads to organic content to email funnels.

During Design Shows, you'll work in parallel with other production teams to:
• Set up and configure social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram — TikTok coming soon)
• Launch paid ad campaigns using assets produced live by the branding and creative teams
• Calculate cost projections and ROI targets — what does profitability look like for this client?
• Forecast expected results based on ad spend — given a budget, you should be able to project reach, leads, conversions, and revenue with confidence
• Define campaign goals with the client: conversions, leads, reach, or sales
• Produce 10–50+ ad variations per show — volume and iteration matter here

For Encore (ongoing client campaigns), you'll:
• Run and optimize live paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and other platforms
• Manage budgets, monitor ROAS, and iterate based on performance data
• Build and manage email/SMS marketing funnels — from list building to drip sequences
• Develop organic content calendars, write copy, and grow engaged audiences
• Pull weekly analytics and present clear reports on what's working and what needs to change
• Coordinate with the creative team for fresh ad assets, email templates, and social content

WHO YOU ARE

• You have real, hands-on experience running paid ad campaigns on Meta, Google, or TikTok — you've managed budgets and can speak to ROAS, CPA, and conversion metrics
• You understand organic social strategy beyond just scheduling posts — you know how to grow and engage communities
• You can set up email marketing funnels (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Drip, or similar) and understand automation sequences
• You turn data into action — you're comfortable with analytics tools and can tell a story with numbers
• You write compelling ad copy, social posts, and email content — clear, punchy, on-brand
• You're fast, organized, and can manage multiple client campaigns at once without dropping balls
• You communicate proactively — no surprises, no radio silence, no waiting to be asked
• You thrive in a fast-paced, live environment where things move quickly and iteration is constant
• You can work across both PST and PhST time zones — this is essential, as our team and clients operate across the US and the Philippines

Bonus points:
• Experience with Hootsuite, Hyros, or similar social media management/tracking tools
• Familiarity with landing page builders and conversion optimization
• Comfort working with designers in Figma, FigJam, or Canva for creative briefs and asset reviews
• Understanding of e-commerce marketing (Shopify, Klaviyo, product launches)
