JOB OVERVIEW

JOB TITLE: Canva Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- We are a US-based marketing consulting agency that runs done-for-you Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns for home-service businesses (painters, foundation repair, landscapers, truck repair, remodelers, and more). We are growing fast and need a skilled Canva Designer to help us create scroll-stopping static ad graphics for our clients.
- This is a design-only role. You are not managing campaigns, writing copy, or talking to clients. Your job is to take a creative brief from our team and turn it into polished, high-converting Facebook and Instagram ad graphics.

What you will be doing:
- Designing static image ads in Canva based on briefs from our marketing team. Each client gets 2-4 new static ads per month, and we have 9+ clients now and growing fast.
- Creating before-and-after graphics, offer graphics, price-point graphics, and lifestyle ads for home-service businesses.
- Designing carousel ads (multi-image) for Facebook and Instagram.
- Making quick edits and revisions based on feedback.
- Organizing files inside Google Drive so every client's assets are clean and easy to find.
- Following client brand guidelines (logo, colors, fonts) exactly.
- Keeping up with current Facebook and Instagram ad design trends so our creative performs well.

What we need from you:
- Strong Canva skills. You should be able to design professional ad graphics quickly without constant hand-holding. Send us examples of your work.
- Understanding of what makes a scroll-stopping ad. You know how to grab attention in the Facebook feed with bold text, strong contrast, and clear offers.
- Good eye for design. Clean layouts, readable text hierarchy, balanced spacing, smart use of color.
- Attention to detail. Client names, prices, phone numbers, logos, and offers must be exactly right every single time.
- Fast turnaround. When we send you a brief, we need the first draft back within 24-48 hours.
- Reliable internet and consistent work hours. You do not need to be on video calls often but you need to be responsive in Slack during our working hours.
- Solid written English. You will be communicating with our team in Slack about briefs and revisions. Your English does not need to be perfect but you need to understand instructions clearly and ask good questions when something is unclear.

Nice to have (not required):
- Experience designing Facebook or Instagram ads specifically.
- Understanding of ad copy principles (hook, offer, call to action).
- Experience using Canva's Brand Kit feature to manage multiple client brands.
- Basic photo editing skills (background removal, color correction).

Details:
Part-time to full-time depending on workload and your availability. Start at 20 hours per week with room to grow.
