**Location:** 100% Remote (Philippines-based)
**Schedule:** US Pacific Time (Overlapping hours required)
**Reporting to:** Founder & Chief Medical Officer

**The Mission**
We are not just building another app; we are disrupting how healthcare is priced and delivered. Led by a quadruple board-certified Neurologist, our flagship platform, **MedBid.ai**, is a high-stakes marketplace where medical providers bid for patient care in real-time. We are looking for a "Business-Logic First" engineer to lead the full-scale deployment and technical hardening of this ecosystem.

**The Tech Stack**
* **Backend:** Node.js / Express (High-performance, low-latency bidding logic).
* **Frontend:** Modern React / TypeScript.
* **Environment:** GitHub-centric workflow with **Cursor** (AI-augmented development).
* **Compliance:** HIPAA 2026 Security Standards (Data-at-rest encryption, MFA, and audit logging).
* **Deployment:** Netlify / AWS.

**What You’ll Do**
* **Marketplace Architecture:** Optimize the real-time bidding engine to handle sub-second latency for provider notifications.
* **Security & Compliance:** Implement and maintain the latest 2026 HIPAA standards to ensure absolute patient data privacy.
* **AI Integration:** Leverage AI-native coding tools (Cursor) to maintain a high-velocity feature release cycle.
* **Collaborative Growth:** Work directly with the Founder to translate clinical needs into technical features for MedBid and our sister platform, NeuroJyoti.
What You’ll Build:
Patient case submission system (structured intake)
Provider bidding engine (real-time updates)
Dashboard for providers and patients
Notification system (bid alerts, updates)
API integrations (payments, messaging)

**Requirements**
* **5+ Years** in Full-Stack development (Node.js/React).
* **Proven Experience** with marketplace logic or real-time transactional systems.
* **Security Mindset:** Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, or similar healthcare regulatory frameworks.
* **Communication:** Exceptional English—you must be comfortable explaining technical trade-offs to a non-technical medical board.
Self-Starter:** You prefer value a stable, long-term professional home.
