About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Email Marketing Specialist to clean up, fix, and optimize our Mailchimp system and improve campaign performance.

This role is not just sending emails — you will:

Fix our contact database
Improve deliverability
Build automation workflows
Help increase conversions from campaigns

What You’ll Be Working On Immediately
Clean up 13,000+ contact database
Ensure contacts are properly subscribed and segmented
Fix domain authentication issues affecting deliverability
Activate and optimize automation flows (abandoned cart, re-engagement, etc.)
Improve campaign performance using proven frameworks

Key Responsibilities

Email System & Data Management
Clean and organize Mailchimp contact lists
Manage subscriptions, tagging, and segmentation
Ensure compliance and proper list structure

Campaign Execution
Build and send email campaigns
Focus on product-driven offers, urgency, and clear CTAs
Optimize based on open rates and click performance

Automation & Workflows
Activate and manage:
Abandoned cart flows
Re-engagement campaigns
Backorder notifications
Improve customer journey automation

Deliverability & Technical Setup
Work with IT to fix domain authentication issues
Improve email deliverability and reduce bounce rates

What We’re Looking For
Experience using Mailchimp (REQUIRED)
Strong understanding of:
- Email campaigns
- Automation workflows
- Segmentation and tagging
Detail-oriented and process-driven
Comfortable working with data and systems

Nice to Have
Experience with eCommerce email flows
Understanding of email performance metrics
Experience improving deliverability
