JOB OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a talented SEO Content Editor and Ghostwriter to bring fresh energy and expertise to our Florida-based website.

If you’re looking to truly make a difference—rather than just posting more articles—you’ll find this role rewarding. Our goal is to build on what we have, not start over.

We already have:

* 18 published blog articles
* Around 30 existing pages
* One article cluster that is linked correctly (French Toast)
* Several other articles and service pages that still need:
* stronger human tone
* better internal linking
* clearer topical structure
* better connection between blog content and service pages

Our first priority is to improve the existing content.

Main Responsibilities:

* Audit existing blog posts and key pages.
* Refresh or lightly refine our content so it sounds natural, warm, and genuinely American in tone.
* Improve internal linking across existing pages and articles.
* Spot weak content and recommend linking, expanding, repositioning, or new support.
* Use our existing spreadsheet and keep all work organized in one system.
* Suggest new content only when necessary, and only with clear reasoning.

Important Rules:

* Do not make major structural changes without approval.
* Prioritize improving current content over suggesting significant new content volumes.
* AI support is fine, but the writing must feel human and natural.

Requirements:

* Native-level US English
* Strong experience editing existing SEO content
* Strong internal linking skills
* Experience with WordPress
* Ability to write in a human, conversational, non-robotic tone
* Good judgment about what content should be improved first

Deliverables:

* Content audit spreadsheet
* Internal linking recommendations
* Revised article samples
* List of isolated or weak pages/articles with recommended action
* Limited, prioritized content gap suggestions

Please Answer:

1. How would you improve internal linking on a site with existing articles and service pages?
2. How do you humanize an SEO article without hurting rankings?
3. How do you d ---------- whether a piece of content should be updated, expanded, or left alone?
4. What tools do you personally use for content audits and internal linking?

Paid Test:
Please rewrite 300–500 words from one existing article in a more natural and engaging tone.
Also, suggest 5 internal links you would add, including anchor text and reason for each.
