We are a scaling DTC e-commerce brand currently doing $100,000+ per month in revenue. We are hiring a creative editor on a long-term part-time contract. This role covers BOTH video editing AND static ad design. If you only do one, this is not for you.
This is not a role for beginners. If you have never produced creative for a real DTC brand running paid ads on Meta, do not apply. We will notice immediately.
What you will be producing:
Video:
AI UGC videos with real AI-generated audio, voiceovers, and realistic avatars (not robotic text-to-speech, not obviously fake)
AI VSLs with real AI audio, pacing, and production quality that matches human-made VSLs
Traditional UGC videos edited from creator raw footage
VSLs (long-form, conversion-focused)
Short-form ad edits for TOF hooks, MOF advertorials, BOF retargeting
Static:
Meta ad native statics (advertorial, testimonial, comparison, offer)
Full-funnel static creative across TOF, MOF, and BOF
Product demonstration graphics, UGC-style statics, text-on-image hook creatives
Production volume expectation:
25 to 70 creatives per day (mix of video and static, depending on brief). If you cannot produce at this volume while maintaining quality, this role is not for you.
Who we are looking for:
Minimum 2 years producing creative for DTC or e-commerce brands running paid ads
Proven experience producing AI UGC and AI VSLs that look and sound real (HeyGen, Higgsfield, Arcads, ElevenLabs, or similar). Your portfolio must show this specifically.
Portfolio must show BOTH video edits AND static ads that actually ran on Meta (not mockups, not Canva templates, not wedding videos)
Fluent in CapCut or Premiere Pro for video
Fluent in Photoshop or Figma for static design (Canva alone is not enough)
You understand TOF, MOF, and BOF creative. You know what a hook is, what an advertorial looks like, and what scroll-stopping pacing means.
Reliable daily availability, responsive on WhatsApp during agreed hours
Scope and compensation:
Roughly 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday
Starting rate: $5 per hour
Rate is NEGOTIABLE and will be adjusted based on portfolio strength, speed, and proven DTC experience. Senior creatives with strong reels will be paid significantly more. If you are experienced, apply. Do not self-filter based on the starting rate.
Winning creatives get performance bonuses when your ads perform in our campaigns.
Long-term contract if we are a good fit. We are building a creative team for the long run.
