Hiring Video Editor (YouTube – Talking Head Content)

I’m looking for a video editor to help with YouTube content.

This is mostly talking head + screen recordings, but I need someone who understands how to make content engaging, not just cut clips together.

What You’ll Be Editing:
Talking head YouTube videos (4-8 min long)
Screen recordings (tutorial-style content)
Short-form clips from long videos
What I Need From You:
Clean cuts (remove filler, silence, mistakes)
Add zooms, subtitles, and light motion when it improves retention
Basic audio cleanup (no echo, consistent levels)
Tight pacing that keeps viewers engaged

I’m not looking for over-edited flashy content.
I care more about retention and flow than effects.

Requirements:
Strong understanding of pacing and viewer attention
Good English comprehension (you’ll be editing spoken content)
Ability to follow a style and improve it over time
Reliable and consistent

If you just follow templates without thinking, this won’t work.
