YouTube Video Editor — Faceless Finance Channel (Shorts + Long-Form)

We are launching a new Faceless finance YouTube channel covering topics like investing, personal finance, wealth building, and money strategy. Our audience is serious about their financial future — and our content needs to match that credibility.
We are building this the right way — with the right editor from day one.

What You'll Be Doing
Daily (Shorts):
- Edit 1 YouTube Short per day (57 sec or less)
- Fast-paced, hook-driven cuts designed to stop the scroll
- Add captions, on-screen text, transitions, and relevant B-roll

3× Per Week (Long-Form):
- Edit 9–12 minute Faceless long-form finance videos
- Sync voiceover or AI talking head footage with contextually accurate B-roll
- Add charts, data overlays, lower thirds, and on-screen callouts where needed
- Maintain consistent brand style, colour grade, and intro/outro templates

How This Role Works — Please Read
-This is a brand new channel. The first two weeks are the most demanding part of this role — not the ongoing norm.
- During weeks 1 and 2 we will be producing and refining a batch of videos together: aligning on style, workflow, feedback loops, and brand consistency. Expect 20–25 hours per week during this period as we build the assembly line together.

Once we are happy with the output and the process is running smoothly, the workload settles into a comfortable, predictable rhythm — 1 Short per day + 3 long-form videos per week at a relaxed, sustainable pace.
We are not a channel that constantly piles on pressure. Once the system works, we protect it.

The Most Important Requirement
- You must have prior experience editing finance videos - This is non-negotiable.
- Finance content requires you to independently select footage that is contextually accurate — stock charts when discussing market movements, boardrooms for corporate topics, everyday spending scenes for budgeting content. Editors without finance context consistently pick generic or wrong B-roll and it damages channel credibility.

You're a Great Fit If You…
- Have 1+ years editing finance, business, or economics YouTube content
- Are proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Understand YouTube Shorts formatting (vertical, hook in first 2 seconds, captions mandatory)
- Know how to source B-roll that reinforces financial concepts — not just looks nice
- Can turn around a Short same day when needed
- Communicate proactively, flag issues early, and never miss a deadline silently
- Experience launching or working on a new YouTube channel from scratch
- Motion graphics or data visualisation overlays (stock tickers, percentage callouts)
- Familiar with AI voiceover tools (ElevenLabs, etc.)
- Understanding of YouTube retention-optimised editing (pattern interrupts, pacing)
