JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
I'm looking for a skilled video editor and graphic designer to join me long-term as part of a small, fast-moving creative team. You'll be producing short-form video ads and organic social content — a mix of talking-head edits and motion graphics videos — plus supporting static graphics.

Briefs will be provided for each piece of content, but if your style fits well, there's real potential to take creative control over time.

This is a part-time role (20 hours/week) to start, with strong potential to grow into full-time with a salary increase based on output quality and reliability. I want someone I can work with for the long haul.

Detailed Responsibilities:
Edit short-form video content (typically 15–60 seconds) for paid social and organic channels
Produce talking-head edits with captions, b-roll, sound design, and pacing that holds attention
Create motion graphics videos (kinetic text, animated product/feature highlights, transitions)
Design static graphics and carousels for organic social
Work from written briefs with supplied raw footage, reference material, and brand assets
Polish, retouch, and Photoshop AI-generated content (your own outputs and work produced by other tea ---------- mbers) to a finished, on-brand standard
Deliver finished content same day on the tasks assigned
Manage your tasks and deliverables in ClickUp
Communicate via ClickUp (primary) and WhatsApp when needed — not daily check-ins, just as needed

Required Technical Skills:
Adobe Premiere Pro (primary video editing tool)
Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics tool
Adobe Photoshop
Strong graphic design fundamentals — typography, layout, hierarchy, color
Ability to match an established brand style from references

Desired Technical Skills:
Canva and CapCut
Experience with AI creative tools, especially Higgsfield AI or any AI that it provides, is a big bonus. We use Higgsfield and other AI tools as part of our creative pipeline, and you'll be expected to polish AI-generated content to a finished, on-brand standard.
An eye for paid-social performance (what stops the scroll)

Soft Skills:
Reliable same-day turnaround
Takes direction well but brings ideas
Clear written communication in English
Organized in ClickUp

What Matters More Than Years of Experience:
A strong portfolio is far more important than years on a CV. If your reel is great, apply — even if you're early in your career.

How to Apply:
To show me you've read the post, start your application with the word CITRUS. Applications that don't will be ignored.

Please include:
Your portfolio / reel (links only)
2–3 examples of short-form video ads or organic social videos you've edited
1–2 examples of motion graphics work
If you've used AI tools (Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Midjourney, etc.): outline which tools you've used, your workflow, and include 1–2 portfolio examples of AI-generated content that you polished / finished in Photoshop or your editing software
Your estimated turnaround time for each of the following, assuming brief + raw assets are provided:

A 30-second talking-head video (cuts, captions, b-roll, sound)
A 30-second motion graphics video
Your Premiere Pro and Photoshop experience in 2–3 sentences
