Short-Form Video Editor — Christian Mobile App Ads (TikTok/Meta)

I'm looking for a reliable video editor to help me produce short-form ads (25–35 seconds) for SermonKeep — a Christian mobile app that records and transcribes sermons so believers can stay present during church without losing the message.
This is an ongoing gig role starting with small batches of 5 videos at a time. If the work is good and communication is smooth, there will be consistent work going forward.
What you'll receive for each video:

An AI-generated clip (10–15 seconds) — the hook
A product demo of the app (10–15 seconds) — the payoff. If you own an iPhone and are comfortable recording your own screen demos, that is a big bonus and makes you significantly more valuable on this project. If not, I will provide the b-roll footage for you to work with.
Written instructions per video specifying text overlays, cuts, and anything specific needed

I'll do my best to make the instructions clear, but I want to be upfront — good communication from both sides will be important, especially at the start while we establish a workflow.

What each video needs:
- Clean cut between the AI clip and the app demo
- Captions/subtitles styled for TikTok and Meta (clean, readable, well-timed)
- Subtle background music — nothing loud, dialogue is the focus
- On-screen text overlays where specified
- Minor fixes to hide any AI artifacts or smooth transitions
- Final export: vertical 9:16, optimized for TikTok and Meta

Turnaround: 24–48 hours per video on weekdays. No expectation to work on weekends.

You're a great fit if you:
- Have experience editing short-form content for TikTok or Instagram Reels
- Are comfortable with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or any equivalent editing tool
- Communicate clearly in English
- Are detail-oriented and can follow specific per-video instructions
- Can deliver consistently within the weekday turnaround window

Big bonus if:

- You are an iPhone user — there may be opportunities to record your own product demo footage directly on your device, which would make you significantly more valuable on this project
- You are a Christian and attend church regularly — you will immediately understand the content and the audience without needing extra context

We estimate each video will take around 30–45 minutes of work, which is why we pay per video rather than by the hour. Our rate is $6–8 per video depending on complexity. If your work is consistently excellent and volume increases, we are happy to revisit the rate.
