Creative Youtube Editor + Thumbnail Designer ( Gaming / Reactions / Meme Edits

I’m building a YouTube channel (gaming, reactions, commentary) and I’m looking for a CREATIVE editor who understands internet culture and knows how to make content entertaining — not just cut clips.


What I need:
Someone who:
• Is tapped into ---------- s, TikTok, YouTube trends, and internet culture
• Understands humor, timing, and viral-style edits
• Can match my personality and build on it through editing
• Can take initiative and add their own ideas
• Knows how to make clickable thumbnails by studying what’s working


IMPORTANT (read this):
My content style is similar to PewDiePie.

If you don’t understand the style:
Go watch older PewDiePie videos and come back.

That type of personality, humor, and pacing is what I’m going for.


This is NOT a basic editing job.

You are expected to:
• Add ---------- s that match what’s happening in the video
• Enhance jokes with sound effects, zooms, and visuals
• Turn random/funny ---------- nts into creative edits (for example: if I make a weird noise or say something random, you turn it into something visual or funny that fits)
• Understand recurring jokes/phrases and build edits around them

I want edits that feel ALIVE, not plain.


Your responsibilities:
• Edit 1 main YouTube video per day (gaming / reactions / commentary)
• Create 3–7 short clips from that video (TikTok / YouTube Shorts)
• Add captions, ---------- s, sound effects, and fast-paced edits
• Create 1 thumbnail per video
• BEFORE making thumbnails: look at similar videos in the niche and base your design on what is currently working (style, text, emotion, simplicity)
• Keep thumbnails clean, clickable, and not cluttered
• Suggest content ideas based on trends when possible


Content style:
• Gaming + reactions + commentary
• Funny, opinionated, personality-driven
• Fast-paced and engaging (not boring edits)


Current situation:
I already have hours of recorded footage ready, so you’ll have content to work with immediately.
