We're hiring a Field Scheduler to manage dispatching, crew scheduling, and job coordination for U.S.-based construction and trade service companies.
This is not a general admin role. You'll own the daily schedule. You'll route crews, manage service calls, handle rescheduling, and keep the field running on time. When something shifts, you're the one who makes sure nothing falls apart.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Manage daily and weekly scheduling for field crews, technicians, and subcontractors
Dispatch and route teams to job sites based on priority, location, and availability
Coordinate with field supervisors, project managers, and clients on scheduling changes
Handle inbound service requests, reschedules, and cancellations
Maintain scheduling software with accurate job details, crew assignments, and status updates
Monitor job progress and flag delays or conflicts before they become problems
Communicate schedule confirmations, changes, and reminders to crews and clients
Track fleet and equipment assignments as needed
TOOLS YOU SHOULD KNOW (some or all):
-ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro
-Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar
-Fleet management software
-Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
-Communication: Slack, Zoom, or phone/SMS coordination
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
-2+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or field coordination
-Strong written and verbal English communication
-Construction, trades, or field service industry experience is strongly preferred
-You think fast and adapt when schedules change (and they will)
-You can manage multiple crews and jobs simultaneously without losing track
-You're proactive about flagging conflicts and solving scheduling problems before they escalate
-You're comfortable working U.S. business hours (aligned with your client's time zone)
-Stable internet connection and a professional remote work setup
