Job Position: Workspace Analyst

Rate: $5/hour full-time + perks & benefits

Job Description:
The workspace staff is responsible for maintaining healthy service within the Microsoft365 and Gsuite platforms. This individual is an expert in both of these technologies, and can resolve issues stemming from Microsoft and Google services.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Monitoring workspace accounts' health involves continuously assessing their performance, and compliance. This includes tracking changes in software configurations associated with these accounts, ensuring they align with organizational policies and standards.
Documenting and reporting workspace licenses entails maintaining comprehensive records of all licenses associated with the workspace environment. This includes tracking license usage, expiration dates, and any relevant terms or conditions. Reporting on these licenses involves generating regular reports to provide insights into license utilization and compliance status. Providing support to other departments' escalations requires offering timely assistance and expertise in resolving issues related to workspace services and applications.
This support may involve troubleshooting technical issues, providing guidance on best practices, or coordinating with relevant stakeholders to address complex challenges. Effective communication and collaboration are key to ensuring successful resolution of escalations and maintaining positive relationships with other departments. Conduct regular audits of licenses to ensure correct allocation and revoke access when necessary.
Ensure all newly created accounts are populated with necessary details like job title, office location, etc. Implement alert systems to promptly detect issues within key products like OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online. For instance, trigger alerts when email storage approaches 90?pacity. Serve as the go-to ""Subject Matter Expert"" for Office 365 and G Suite products, handling escalations from various departments effectively. Excluding Teams, Azure Active Directory, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Power Apps and Forms.

Qualification:
Associates Degree in IT or a related field, OR 1-2 years of experience in IT, or a related field. Proficiency in utilizing Autotask, Zoho, Office 365, and G Suite applications. Familiarity with alert systems and experience in implementing alerts for key products such as OneDrive, SharePoint, and Exchange Online. Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for Office 365 and G Suite products.

Experience:
One to two years of proven experience in a technical support role within a helpdesk, service desk, or clerical environment. Excellent documentation skills with the ability to maintain comprehensive records of workspace licenses. Proven track record in providing timely support and expertise in resolving escalations from various departments. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of license auditing processes and experience in managing license allocations. Strong understanding of workspace account management, including monitoring performance and ensuring compliance.
