I'm looking for an experienced web developer to help me improve and manage a unique website/application we've been building for our non-profit organization, "Students Helping Students". Our mission is to improve educational equity.
The site is built with Bubble ( https://bubble.is ), so you'll need to learn how to use that software, which will take a little time, but that's okay - I'm ready to start a long-term relationship with someone, so I'm happy to pay for that time.
That being said, while you don't have to know Bubble yet, you DO need to be an experienced developer already.
Right now, the application mainly does these 2 things:
1. Facilitates the donation of school supplies from well-funded schools and businesses to under-funded schools. Videos: http://philstorage.s3.amazonaws.com/SHS-donation-recipient.mov and http://philstorage.s3.amazonaws.com/SHS-donation-donor.mov
2. Facilitates the volunteering of students within these schools. Videos: http://philstorage.s3.amazonaws.com/SHS-volunteer-get.mov and http://philstorage.s3.amazonaws.com/SHS-volunteer-give.mov
...and it will do a lot more in the future, as there's more to build.
IMPORTANT: If you're interested in applying for this position, please do whatever you can to convince me you're the best person for the job. Don't just copy and paste your resume - convince me that you'll be able to learn Bubble, that you already have solid development experience, and that you're reliable and good to work with.
Thanks!
Phil
