Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails applications to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues, improve testing processes, and deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for Rails applications
Collaborate with developers to understand features and technical implementation
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or ClickUp
Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as RSpec, Capybara, and Selenium or Playwright
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage
Ensure API endpoints are properly tested using tools like Postman or Swagger
Continuously improve QA processes and testing frameworks

Requirements

2+ years experience in QA or Software Testing
Experience testing Ruby on Rails applications
Strong knowledge of RSpec and Capybara
Familiarity with FactoryBot is a plus
Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
Experience with version control (Git)
Understanding of Agile or Scrum workflows
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI
Basic knowledge of Ruby scripting
Experience testing React or other frontend frameworks
Knowledge of performance and security testing
