Creative Manager (Design, Video, Web) – Remote (Philippines)

Overview
We’re hiring a Creative Manager to elevate our design, branding, and video content across multiple industries (hospitality, healthcare, etc.).
This is a production-focused, non-client-facing role. You’ll work with our internal marketing team to bring ideas to life—and push them further.
You must be able to take ownership of projects with minimal oversight and deliver polished, on-brand work.
Compensation & Hiring Process
We are hiring for both part-time and full-time potential, but we take a structured, performance-based approach to ensure the right long-term fit.
Phase 1: Sample Project (1 Week)
Duration: Up to 15 hours total
Pay: $4.15/hour
Purpose: Evaluate creative ability, workflow, communication, and overall fit
Phase 2: Trial Period (2–4 Weeks)
Schedule: ~15 hours per week (part-time)
Pay: $4.15/hour
Purpose: Real-world collaboration with our team and consistency of output
Phase 3: Ongoing Role
Compensation: $3.75 – $5.75/hour, based on:
Skill level
Speed and efficiency
Ability to meet creative and production expectations
Opportunity to grow into:
30–45 hours/week
Long-term role with consistent workload and potential PTO

Core Responsibilities
Execute high-quality graphic design strategy, and execution, across digital platforms
Create and edit short-form social media videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Collaborate, and present ideas such as: Develop branding slide decks and brand guidelines
Ability to take old posted content, refresh and modernize (video + design) to extend lifespan
Assist with web design projects:
Build and modify pages using WordPress (Salient / WPBakery)
And/or work to develop style guidelines and direction for the web developer
Create motion graphics, background videos, and visual elements
Review developer work and suggest creative improvements
Take raw direction and run with it creatively
Skill Priorities (in order)
Graphic Design / Creative Leadership (MOST IMPORTANT)
Strong branding sense, layout, typography, visual identity
Ability to guide and elevate overall creative direction
Video Editing
Social-first editing (hooks, pacing, captions, modern style)
Motion graphics and visual storytelling
Ability to repurpose and upgrade older content
Web Design (No Coding Required)
Experience working inside page builders (Salient / WPBakery preferred)
Ability to adapt templates to match brand
Strong eye for layout, UX, and visual polish
Requirements
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Available 9am–5pm EST with weekly team check-ins
Highly accountable, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Able to manage multiple projects without constant oversight
Experience working with U.S.-based teams is a plus

Start: ~20 hours/week (part-time)
Growth to 30–45 hours/week / full-time + PTO for the right fit

Objective

Project Overview
You will be given an existing client with current assets (website, social media, logos, etc.).
Your task is to:
Analyze the current brand
Create a Branding Guidelines Deck
Present creative direction and improvements
Execute sample content using templates
Repurpose old content into updated formats
Deliverables
1. Branding Guidelines Deck (Core Deliverable)
Create a clean, professional presentation that includes:
Brand overview (current state)
Color palette (existing or refined)
Typography recommendations
Visual style direction (imagery, tone, layout)
Do’s and Don’ts
Suggestions to improve brand consistency
2. Creative Direction Presentation
Within the same deck or separate section:
Your vision for elevating the brand
Examples of:
Social media direction
Video style (hooks, pacing, overlays)
Ad creative direction
Clear explanation of why your approach works
3. Template Sourcing + Customization
Source 2–3 templates (video or design)
Customize them to match the brand
Show:
Original template
Your branded version
4. Content Execution (Samples)
Create:
2–3 short-form video concepts (can be mockups or rough edits)
2–3 graphic design examples (posts, ads, etc.)
Focus on:
Strong hooks
Clean, modern design
On-brand execution
5. Content Repurposing
Take existing client content and:
Refresh it with:
New design
New cuts/editing style
Updated creative direction
Show:
Before vs. After
6. Web Design Input (Light)
Review the client’s website
Provide:
3–5 suggestions to improve design/UX
Optional: mockup or direction for one section (hero, layout, etc.)
7. Time Tracking
You have 15 total hours
Track your time across:
Branding
Video
Design
Research
Provide a simple breakdown of how you spent your time.

Total time allowed: 15 hours
Deadline: 7 days from assignment
