About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with a background in housing, property, or social services. The successful candidate will support our property acquisition and supported accommodation initiatives by liaising with local councils and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). This role involves research, outreach, and administrative support to secure temporary accommodation contracts and source suitable tenants.
Key Responsibilities
Council & RSL Liaison
Contact local councils and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) to gather information on Temporary Accommodation schemes.
Enquire about opportunities for landlords to secure contracts.
Obtain and document:
Temporary accommodation nightly rates.
Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) rates.
Available landlord incentives.
Contract durations (ideally a minimum of two years).
Property requirements (e.g., 2-bedroom family homes).
Preferred locations and demand areas.
Maintain accurate records of all communications and findings.
Research & Data Management
Compile reports and maintain organised databases of council and RSL requirements.
Track and update opportunities and contacts using spreadsheets or CRM systems.
Provide weekly progress updates and insights.
Tenant Outreach & Supported Accommodation
Assist in sourcing tenants for supported accommodation.
Conduct outreach to relevant organisations, charities, and referral partners.
Promote property availability through digital platforms and professional networks.
Social Media & Marketing Support
Create and manage social media posts to advertise properties and services.
Support brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn and
Assist with online research and marketing campaigns.
Call Management
Use MyBOnline to make and receive calls, ensuring transparency and quality monitoring.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy in all communications.
Required Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Property Administrator, or Housing Officer.
Knowledge of the UK housing sector, including councils, RSLs, and temporary accommodation schemes.
Familiarity with AST agreements and supported accommodation is highly desirable.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent research, organisational, and administrative abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
Experience using MyBOnline or similar VoIP platforms.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in social housing, property management, or local authority housing departments.
Experience in tenant sourcing or supported accommodation services.
Social media management and digital marketing experience.
Understanding of UK compliance and housing standards.
Working Hours & Compensation
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible).
Location: Fully remote.
