Senior Virtual Assistant – Short-Term Rental (STR) Specialist

We are a fast-growing short-term rental management company seeking an experienced Senior Virtual Assistant with proven experience in the STR industry.

This is not an entry-level role. Applicants must already be proficient in the key platforms and processes used in professional property management.

Required Platform Experience

Applicants must have demonstrated experience using:

• Hostaway PMS
• PriceLabs dynamic pricing
• Airbnb
• Booking.com
• Stayz / VRBO
• Google Vacation Rentals
• TouchStay guidebooks
• Canva
• Social media management (Instagram & Facebook)

Key Responsibilities

• Guest communication and reservation management
• Managing listing performance across multiple OTA platforms
• Listing optimisation (titles, descriptions, photo ordering, SEO)
• PriceLabs monitoring and pricing adjustments
• Creating and updating TouchStay digital guidebooks
• Managing Airbnb damage claims and resolution cases
• Understanding and enforcing cancellation policies and platform protocols
• Identifying opportunities to improve listing visibility and conversion
• Creating basic marketing content using Canva and social media

Required Skills

The successful candidate must:

• Be highly proactive and able to identify improvements independently
• Have strong knowledge of Airbnb protocols, policies and guest management
• Understand listing optimisation and search ranking factors
• Be confident managing damage claims, guest issues and cancellation policies
• Have excellent written English and professional communication skills
• Be organised, reliable and detail-focused

Availability

• Minimum availability: 8 hours per day
• Must be responsive during working hours

Important

This role is suited to someone already working within the short-term rental or Airbnb management industry.

Applicants without direct STR platform experience will not be considered.
