Scott Goldberg Consulting (SGC) works with schools and organizations to strengthen leadership, strategy, and overall effectiveness.
We are looking for a highly organized, reliable Administrator to support day-to-day operations, client work, and internal systems. This role is for someone who pays close attention to detail, follows through consistently, and helps keep work organized and moving across the team.
The Administrator will work across operations, client support, systems, and basic financial tracking. The goal is to keep projects organized and on schedule, and to make sure leadership has clear and accurate information when making decisions.
This is a remote, part-time role averaging 8–12 hours per week, with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Coordination
Keep track of projects, deadlines, and next steps across the team
Follow up to make sure tasks are completed on time
Identify delays or gaps and flag them early
Schedule and coordinate internal meetings
Take notes when needed and track action items
Help plan schedules based on workload and priorities
Notice when something is off or unclear and raise it early
Systems, CRM, and Data
Keep records up to date in the CRM and other systems
Update pipeline and client information regularly
Create simple reports that show what is on track, what is behind, and where there are gaps
Manage user access and basic troubleshooting across tools (QuickBooks, Harvest, CRM, Google Workspace)
Communicate with vendors or support teams when needed
Maintain contract records in the CRM, including tracking key terms, renewal dates, and deliverables
Finance and Payments
Manage accounts receivable and payable, process payments, and prepare and track invoices
Assist with expense reports, reimbursements, and budget prep
Prepare income projections and monitor employee capacity to support workload planning
Compile monthly or quarterly summaries across finance, time tracking, and client work
Prepare simple reports (e.g., revenue by project, outstanding invoices, workload) and note any issues that need attention
Knowledge Management and Program Support
Organize shared folders, templates, and files so they are easy to find and use
Keep documents updated and clearly labeled
Set up Zoom links, manage registrations, and send follow-up
Marketing and Business Development Support
Keep track of ideas for articles, posts, and other content
Help post and engage on social media
Draft short posts or summaries based on notes or research
Update website content
Do basic research on potential clients or markets
Funding and Compliance
Complete and submit required forms for funding or reimbursement
Keep records such as W-9s, contracts, and insurance documents organized
Track submissions and approvals
Keep records organized for reporting or audits
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
Willingness to learn tools such as QuickBooks, CRM systems, and Google Workspace
