Van Horn Law Group is one of Florida’s largest and most respected bankruptcy law firms, having helped over 10,000 people get a fresh financial start. We do more than file cases. We guide clients through the entire process with clear communication, structure, and support all the way through discharge.

We are growing quickly and looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our remote team. Placement will be based on your strengths.

What You Will Do:
You will communicate with clients to guide them through the next steps in their case and follow up to ensure documents and requirements are completed on time. You will answer questions clearly and professionally while providing reassurance when needed. You will maintain accurate notes and updates in our systems, track deadlines, and make sure cases move forward without delays. Depending on your role, you may assist in preparing cases for filing or work with trustees, courts, and third parties after filing. You will work closely with attorneys and tea ---------- mbers to keep cases organized, accurate, and progressing efficiently.

What We Are Looking For:
You have strong English communication skills and are comfortable speaking with clients in a professional and empathetic way. You are highly detail-oriented and understand that small mistakes can have big consequences. You are organized, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and able to follow structured processes. You take ownership of your work and do not need constant supervision. You are reliable, consistent, and show up ready to perform. Experience in legal, administrative, or client service roles is helpful but not required. You should be comfortable using technology such as Google Workspace, CRM systems, or case management tools.

What Success Looks Like:
Cases move forward without delays or missed steps. Deadlines are consistently met. Clients feel informed, supported, and confident. Communication is clear, proactive, and professional. You take ownership of your work and follow through.

Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time remote position at 40 hours per week. Training will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time for the first two weeks. After training, you will work a night shift aligned with Eastern Time with some flexibility. Compensation ranges from $1,000 to $1,600 USD per month based on experience and performance. Performance-based increases and advancement opportunities are available based on accuracy, productivity, and reliability. This is a long-term, stable position with growth potential.

How to Apply:
Send your resume to ---------- and include a short 1-2 minute video introducing yourself. In your video, explain why you are interested in this role, what makes you a strong fit, and any experience you have in legal, administrative, or client service work.

In the subject line of your email, include the word organized so we know you read the full job description and pay attention to detail.

Also, answer this question in your email: You are managing multiple cases, and one client has not submitted the required documents for over a week despite prior follow-ups. What would you do next?

We are not looking for a perfect answer. We are looking for how you think, communicate, and take ownership.
