YouTube Video Editor (History Docuseries | AI Driven Content Studio)

My name is Reece, and we’re expanding our network of YouTube channels across history-focused niches, using storytelling and long-form videos.

We’re building a portfolio of high-performing YouTube channels designed to reach millions of viewers globally, and we’re looking for a Video Editor who understands storytelling, pacing, and retention (not just cutting clips)

You’ll take a leading role in launching a brand-new AI-powered history docuseries channel.

This isn’t a one-off project... there’s long-term upside as we expand into more channels.

We’re combining:

- AI-generated videos using Veo 3, Kling or traditional YouTube automation B Rolls
- Sound design
- Engaging clips
- AI-generated imagery
- Clear, compelling voiceovers

The Opportunity:

This is not a typical editing role. You’ll be responsible for turning ideas into videos that people actually watch to the end.

You’ll work on content designed to:
- Hit 100K-1M+ views
- Keep viewers engaged for long durations
- Compete with fast-growing history channels

You won’t just edit... You’ll help shape:
- Pacing, structure, and storytelling
- The overall style we’re building toward

Work Process:

I will provide a topic and short outline. From there, you will:
- Use our custom GPT to generate a polished script
- Create a voice-over using ElevenLabs
- Source relevant clips (films, interviews, public footage)
- Combine clips and AI visuals into an engaging final video
- Maintain strong pacing and storytelling throughout

Position Details:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (Monday to Saturday)
- Expected Output: 1–2 videos per day (40 mins per video)
- Monthly Salary: $400–$500 USD + incentive bonuses
- Regular performance-based pay reviews
- Long-term role with growth potential

- Experience editing clip-based or commentary-style videos
- Good sense of pacing and retention
- Strong communication and reliability
- Ability to follow structure and deliver consistently
