AEO / GEO / SEO Specialist for Australian Websites

I’m looking for an SEO specialist to support Australian websites with content creation, on-page SEO, backlinks, SEO audits, tracking, and reporting. I’m looking for someone who already has established systems and methods of execution, not someone who is still learning from scratch.

This is gig work/contract work for now. I’m looking to test the waters, see how we work together, and assess the quality of execution before considering anything further.

The main focus is local SEO for Australian businesses, while also improving visibility across Google and AI-driven search platforms.

Need to have:
- Strong SEO experience
- Able to create clear client-friendly reports showing work completed, progress, and outcomes

What I’m Looking For
- Strong English writing and communication skills
- Experience with content creation and on-page SEO
- Experience doing SEO audits and giving practical recommendations
- Understanding of local SEO
- Experience with backlinks / off-page SEO
- Comfortable working in WordPress
- Able to use AI tools well, without producing generic AI content
- Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
- Able to track performance and assess whether SEO work is producing real results
- Organised, reliable, and able to follow systems

Nice to Have
- Experience working on Australian websites
- Experience with Divi

Important:
I am not looking for low quality AI-generated content. AI can be used as part of the workflow, but the final work must be well written, properly edited, and sound natural in English.

A portfolio (including copywriting examples), and SEO audit/monthly reporting examples are required.
