Full-Time Social Media Manager / VA (Real Estate + Service Business)

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (California Time)

Compensation
• $800/month during 1-month trial period
• $1,000/month after successful completion of trial

This is a long-term position, and we are looking for someone reliable who wants to grow with us.

About Us

We own two growing businesses based in California:
1. NorCal Trash Pandas – Junk removal & dumpster rental company
2. NorCal Life Real Estate Group – High-producing real estate team

We are focused on building strong, local brands and need someone who can take full ownership of our content and social media presence.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Social Media Management
• Manage and post on:
• Facebook (both businesses)
• Instagram (both businesses)
• LinkedIn (Real Estate only)
• Maintain consistent posting schedule
• Write captions that feel natural, human, and engaging
• Monitor and respond to comments/messages when needed

Content Creation
• Create graphics using Canva (required)
• Edit and format photos/videos we provide
• Turn raw content into polished, engaging posts
• Repurpose content across platforms

YouTube Management (Real Estate)
• Upload weekly videos
• Write optimized titles and descriptions
• Create thumbnails
• Keep channel organized and consistent


Email Marketing
• Create and send a weekly email newsletter
• Format emails cleanly and professionally

What We’re Looking For
• Strong English writing skills (this is critical)
• Proven experience managing social media accounts
• Canva experience (required)
• Highly organized and reliable
• Able to work during PST hours (non-negotiable)
• Detail-oriented and able to follow through
• Can take direction and execute without constant supervision

Bonus Skills (Not Required)
• Real estate content experience
• SEO knowledge
• Experience with Constant Contact
