JOB OVERVIEW
Join a fast-growing trade school brand that's making a real impact in the skilled trades industry!
Western Welding Academy is looking for a Marketing Ops Manager to build and own our marketing automation, ad tracking, and reporting infrastructure from the ground up. We're bringing this work fully in-house, and we need someone who can take the reins — not wait to be told what to do. You'll work directly with our Marketing Director to make sure every lead, every campaign, and every dollar is tracked, measured, and optimized.
What You'll Do:
Build, manage, and optimize marketing automation workflows in HubSpot
Set up and maintain ad tracking infrastructure — pixels, conversion events, UTM parameters — across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat.
Build and maintain marketing dashboards and reports so leadership always has a clear picture of what's working.
Own the connection between our ad platforms and CRM, ensuring leads flow cleanly from click to enrollment pipeline.
Audit and clean up existing systems, workflows, and data — we're starting fresh and need someone who can build it right.
Manage Google Analytics and ensure proper attribution across all marketing channels.
Troubleshoot tracking issues, broken workflows, and data gaps quickly and independently.
You're a Perfect Fit If You:
Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a similar technical marketing role.
Are highly proficient in HubSpot — workflows, lists, properties, reporting, and integrations.
Know how to set up and troubleshoot tracking pixels, conversion APIs, and UTM structures across multiple ad platforms.
Have strong experience with Google Analytics.
Can build clean, reliable reporting dashboards that non-technical people can actually understand.
Are a systems thinker who sees how all the pieces connect — ads, CRM, attribution, reporting.
Can work independently, take ownership, and solve problems without hand-holding.
Are comfortable working in a fully remote setup during U.S. Mountain Time business hours (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM MT).
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with
Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
Experience in the education, trade school, or vocational training space.
Basic understanding of paid advertising strategy (not just tracking — knowing what the numbers mean).
Details:
Schedule: Full-time, 50 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM U.S. Mountain Time.
Compensation: Starting at $300 USD/week, with potential to increase based on performance.
Reports to: Marketing Director
How to Apply:
Submit your resume and examples of marketing systems, dashboards, or automations you've built. You MUST also include a 2-minute video of yourself explaining why you'd be a great fit for this role, your experience with HubSpot and ad tracking, and a specific example of a system you built or improved. Applications without a video will not be reviewed.
