Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist (Ongoing Per-Project Work)

We are looking for an experienced construction estimator / takeoff specialist for ongoing per-project work.

Project size is typically small to mid-size commercial (5,000 – 10,000 sq ft), with occasional larger scopes.

Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
• Read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural plans
• Provide quantities for:

* Concrete (slabs, footings)
* Basic sitework (grading areas, paving)
* Framing / structural elements
• Deliver clean, organized Excel spreadsheets (SF, LF, CY, EA)
• Include assumptions and exclusions with each takeoff

Requirements:
• Proven experience with construction takeoffs (commercial preferred)
• Ability to read plans without hand-holding
• Must provide sample work (Excel takeoff + marked-up plans)
• Experience with software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar

Important:
We will start with a small paid test project. If successful, this will turn into consistent ongoing work.

We are looking for someone reliable, fast, and detail-oriented — not beginners.
