We are a 25-year-old B2B web design and digital marketing agency based in West Michigan, USA. We build and manage WordPress websites for local businesses, manufacturers, nonprofits, and agribusiness clients across the country. Our team is small, experienced, and fully remote. We hold ourselves and our work to a high standard — and we are looking for a developer who does the same.

The Role
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team on a part-time contractor basis. You will work alongside our existing development team, taking on new site builds, client website edits, technical troubleshooting, and maintenance support.

This is a white-label agency role. You represent our agency in all deliverables. Quality, consistency, and professionalism are non-negotiable.

What You Will Work On
Building new WordPress pages and site sections from approved design briefs
Executing client website edits and mini-projects assigned through Asana
DNS configuration, nameserver changes, and hosting troubleshooting
Speed optimization, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements
Plugin and theme conflict resolution
Site migrations including staging environments and DNS cutover
Schema markup and technical SEO implementation
Cloudflare configuration and security rules
Communicating with hosting support to resolve client account issues

What We Are Looking For
Technical Skills — Required
Expert-level WordPress including Divi, Elementor, Flatsome, and WooCommerce
DNS, domain management, and hosting environment troubleshooting
Site migrations and DNS cutover with minimal downtime
Speed and performance optimization — Core Web Vitals, caching, image compression
HTML, CSS, and basic PHP for custom modifications
Schema markup and structured data implementation
Cloudflare configuration

SEO Knowledge
Working knowledge of on-page and technical SEO best practices
Familiarity with Google Search Console and Ahrefs
Ability to identify and resolve indexing, crawl, and structured data errors

Design Judgment
Strong visual standards — you can see when a layout is wrong and fix it
Able to work from an established site style without needing design direction on every decision
Mobile-first thinking and responsive layout expertise

Work Standards
Extremely high quality bar — you take pride in craft, not just task completion
Self-directed — you work from a brief in Asana without daily oversight
Proactive communicator — you flag issues before they become problems
Minimum 4 hours daily overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST)
Reliable internet connection and consistent availability during overlap hours
