About the Role
I run a YouTube channel focused on AI and finance (50 videos, growing fast). I need a video editor to take over the editing and publishing workflow so I can focus on recording and scripting.
This is a long-term, part-time role, with potential for full-time ~6 months out. You'll edit 4-6 videos per week, each 4-12 minutes long. The style is locked in — I'll give you example videos, CapCut project files with my preferred settings, and access to my Canva account for thumbnails.
Your normal working hours (Philippine time, 8am-5pm) are perfect. I record during my morning in the US (CST), drop raw footage in a shared Google Drive folder, and you edit during your daytime. Your 5pm is my 4am — I wake up to finished cuts ready to review.
What You'll Do
Edit raw screen recordings + face cam footage in CapCut
Follow established editing style (cuts, zooms, text overlays, transitions — all demonstrated in example files)
Create thumbnails using existing Canva templates
Add titles, descriptions, tags, and timestamps (I'll provide a template)
Light audio cleanup (noise reduction, level balancing — nothing complex)
Turnaround: 24 hours from raw footage drop to finished edit in the Drive folder
What I'll Provide
10+ example videos showing the exact editing style
CapCut project files with my settings, fonts, and color scheme
Canva account access with thumbnail templates
Google Drive folder structure for file handoff
Video description template with standard CTA, links, and formatting
