Blog Writer and Pinterest Copywriter for Gift Guide Website

Hi! I'm Mimi, and I run a growing gift guide website that helps people find thoughtful, unique gifts for every occasion. I'm looking for a talented writer to join our small team and help bring this site to life with high-quality gift guide articles and Pinterest copy.

What you'll be doing:
Writing complete gift guide articles (think "Best Gifts for Beach Lovers" or "Unique White Elephant Gifts Under $30") from research through final draft. This includes finding and curating the best products for each guide, writing engaging product descriptions and article copy, writing Pinterest pin titles and descriptions optimized for search, and basic on-page SEO (keywords, meta descriptions, headings).

All content is ghostwritten under the brand's voice and style. You'll be working from article briefs and following our style guide, but I'm looking for someone who can own the full writing process and deliver articles that need only light editing fro ---------- before publishing.

You'd be a great fit if you:
Have strong English writing skills with a warm, conversational tone (think talking to a friend, not writing a textbook). Have experience writing product roundups, gift guides, or affiliate content. Understand basic SEO and know how to naturally work keywords into content. Are comfortable doing product research across sites like Amazon, Etsy, and brand websites. Have some familiarity with Pinterest SEO and writing pin descriptions that rank. Are detail-oriented and can follow a style guide consistently. Can work independently and meet deadlines without a lot of hand-holding.

Bonus points if you:
Have experience with WordPress. Have written for lifestyle, gift, or shopping content sites before. Are genuinely interested in gift-giving and love finding cool products.

Benefits and details:
Looking for someone who can work full-time hours. The start date is as soon as possible. You'll get paid with PayPal. The training period is 10 work days. This is your trial period. You'll get 50% pay on day 1 and 50% on day 10. After day 10, you'll be paid once a month. 13th month pay (prorated for your first year). 2 weeks of paid time off per calendar year. 2 weeks of unpaid time off. Time off and paid for all national holidays.
