About Me

I’m an avid angler and content creator documenting my adventures in the rugged, remote environments of the West Coast of Canada.

This brand is in its early stages—being built right now—with a focus on fishing, hunting, and backcountry exploration. I’m looking for the right editor to help shape the content, style, and direction from the beginning.

What I’m Looking For

A video editor who can:

• Turn raw footage into cinematic, story-driven YouTube episodes (5–10 minutes)
• Create scroll-stopping Shorts, Reels, and TikToks
• Take both new and existing footage and turn it into fresh, engaging content
• Help develop a visual identity and editing style that fits the outdoor/adventure space
• Work collaboratively and bring creative input, not just edits

Ideal Skills

• Experience editing for YouTube and short-form platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels)
• Strong storytelling instincts and pacing
• Interest in fishing, hunting, or outdoor content is a big plus
• Proficient with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Bonus: motion graphics, text animation, or sound design

Project Details

• Freelance / contract to start
• Ongoing work as the brand grows
• ~1 YouTube video and 3–6 short-form edits per week
• Remote position — flexible hours, but reliable turnaround is key
