Short-Form Video Editor – Social Media Agency

I’m looking for a video editor to join NorthCut Media, a social media agency focused on organic growth for local businesses and personal brands.

To start, you’ll be editing simple talking head content — clean cuts, captions, pacing, basic graphics. As we build trust, the work expands into more graphic-intensive edits across multiple client accounts (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).

This is a per-deliverable contract to start with a clear path to a monthly retainer for the right person.

What you’ll be editing
- Talking head short-form clips (TikTok / Reels / Shorts)
- Clean edits with captions, transitions, and on-screen text
- Graphic-intensive content as volume grows
Compensation
- $15–$20 USD per reel used
- Payment upon approval of each deliverable
- Up to 2 revision rounds per video (feedback consolidated)
- Path to monthly retainer based on performance and volume

What I’m looking for
- Experience editing short-form content (portfolio required)
- Understands pacing, retention, and what makes people watch
- Communicates clearly and meets deadlines
- Available for consistent weekly output
