Shopify Migration Specialist (WordPress ? Shopify) – Ongoing Work

Hi,

I’m looking for a Shopify specialist who has experience with migrating websites from WordPress (WooCommerce) to Shopify.

I run an e-commerce agency and currently have multiple migration projects, with more coming in consistently.

This is long-term work, starting with one project.

What you will do:

You will help migrate webshops from WordPress to Shopify, including:

Setting up Shopify stores
Rebuilding pages (home, collections, product pages)
Importing products (CSV or tools)
Migrating content (pages, blogs)
Setting up navigation & menus
Installing and configuring apps
Basic theme customization
Ensuring mobile & desktop optimization

VERY IMPORTANT (SEO & Migration)

You must understand:

URL structure differences (WordPress vs Shopify)
301 redirects
Preserving SEO rankings
Meta titles & descriptions
Avoiding traffic loss after migration

How we work:
I manage the project and client communication
You execute and help improve the store
Sometimes the client also works on the project
Clear communication is important

Requirements:
Experience with Shopify
Experience with WordPress / WooCommerce
Understanding of SEO basics
Good English communication
Attention to detail
Ability to follow structure but also think independently
Bonus (not required but preferred):
CRO / conversion optimization knowledge
Experience with Shopify apps
Experience with page builders (Shopify or WordPress)
Basic design sense

Payment:
Hourly (to be discussed)
